VoIP and Internet Security and Wiretapping (Part 2)
With the FBI, CIA and other intelligence units asking for more power in terms of their ability to conduct such information gathering (most experts agree that it is spying, only legalized and with the government’s blessing) everything is up for grabs form personal mail, business correspondence and even confidential business information that is supposed to be kept form the outside world. With everything passing through the internet using VoIP, everything is available without a warrant for the internet is a public place that is for all to use (including them sad to say) for their gain.
Need for legislation that would allow us to boost our rights in the arena of protecting our privacy is needed so we are protected from the prying eyes of others. Criminal activities have used the internet for a long time and the battle is ongoing with those who aim to protect us and those they aim to protect us against and ongoing battle, even with us being oblivious to their activities as we chat away on your mobiles, pocket PC’s and laptops each and every day.
