Skype has been using sound ranges in the upper 16 KHz for quite sometime now, and the next move would be to take the challenge a notch higher into the HD range. Like the advancements in audio visual technology, HD voice would allow us to hear more and better from calls we make. The ease at which such a system can be implemented into each and every household is quite easy for most have PC’s wired to the internet which allows codecs to be downloaded and installed with ease.
